Quality management is one of the key words in our modern business. We have translated this into a Quality and Environmental Manual, which aims to define the structure and where appropriate, to document all processes and activities of Plum A/S, which have direct or indirect influence on one of our key criteria of success: Quality products and satisfied customers.

 

The purpose of the Quality and Environmental Manual include:  

- To describe the quality and environmental management system of Plum A/S, the "quality system"
- To define the responsibilities and powers in connection with the activities that may affect the quality
  and the environment
- To ensure the definition of goals, policies and planning and implementing of the necessary 
  management activities in response to these
- To ensure a continuous improvement of quality and environmental impact by analyzing and learning
  from mistakes and by implementing corrective and preventive actions
- To demonstrate compliance with customer requirements as well as regulatory requirements

 

The quality management system is the basis for Plum A/S to satisfy the requirements of

- ISO 22716, Cosmetics - Guidelines for good manufacturing practice (GMP)

- ISO 13485, Medical equipment - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for legislative 
  purposes 
- ISO 9001, Quality management systems - Requirements
- ISO 14001, Environmental Management Systems - Requirement description with using advice

 

Plum has certificates on the quality management system conforming to ISO 9001 on Quality Management, ISO 14001 on Environmental Management Systems and ISO 13485 on medical devices.

Swan label

The swan label is a Nordic Ecolabel, which products have the right to bear when
they meet a number of specific requirement to raw material, manufacturing, function,
use, packing method and disposal of product and packaging.

We have been awarded the Swan label on the following products:

• Plum Soft - a natural soap without color, perfume and preservatives
• Nature - a mild cream soap without color and perfume
• Nature Hair & Body - a mild cream soap for hair & body. Slightly perfumed. No color.
• Mild - an extra mild cream soap for frequent hand washing. Without perfume and color.
• Fresh - a mild cream soap. Slightly perfumed. No color.
